Provisions of our Father

8/3/2020

“Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations. When the hay is new and new growth appears and the grass from the hills is gathered in, the lambs will provide you with clothing, and the goats with the price of a field. You will have plenty of goats’ milk to feed you and your family and to nourish your servant girls.”

Proverbs 27:23-27

18:33 is a small ranch. We don’t have multiple herds (just one for now). No lambs or goats, nor servant girls! However, this verse from my reading was such a beautiful reminder of God’s provision and the work, love and skill that go behind taking care of His creation. He wastes nothing, and He DOES provide! This beautiful image (almost too special to even share) was captured by @rubyclifton @rubycliftonart during her visit to 18:33.

Our good
Father is working all around us and in every detail. He will continue to take care of our families; we must continue to seek Him. We are praying His blessings over you all today!

On His Throne

3/27/2020
While the world worries and stresses from COVID-19, we know that The Lord is on his Throne. We are choosing to use this time to be in His word, growing closer as a family, and finishing up tasks that have been on our "to do" list for some time. This includes launching the 18:33 Longhorns website. In 2016, we purchased this ranch on Faith and He continues to bless us with the beauty, power, and peace that He created here on Earth.

This photo is of Jackson at the Cross on the Brazos. The Brazos still runs muddy, but last week it was about 15-20 feet high.
